Flo Nuttall, whose ceramics are known by the alias Divineartpottery, is originally from the United Kingdom, but currently based in Rome, Italy, where she has lived for the past 10 years. Her ceramic work is inspired by years of tattooing and traveling through various parts of Asia, where she deepened her interest in eastern imagery; the subjects, the colour palettes, and the mythology. Her most recent work is mainly focused around Tibetan and Buddhist /Hindu imagery, where she enjoys blending together symbols and subjects as one might in tattooing, only this time with the medium of paint. She aims to make pieces that convey not just the beauty, but also the macabre and mystical nature of these fascinating symbolic representations.
